MTB Nationals

Nothing will be confirmed until the AGM this coming weekend (in PEI, reports will be posted from Charlottetown), but it looks like Camp Fortune has a lock on the Mountain Bike Nationals for 1999. Also, it appears that there is a move afoot by IMG to shoehorn a World Cup race into Whistler for `99, even though the calendar is already set (however, IMG has an 'in' with the UCI, since they are marketing the World Cup series). You didn't hear it here...

`Cross Nationals

A word from the organizer: It is great that people are registering by fax and through the website. But until they actually send their money in or pay by Visa, they are not registered! So. Either send in a cheque, or follow the directions for credit card payment. Directions for either approach are posted on the website - click on the icon in the upper right corner of the page. By the way, riders from Québec, Ontario and Alberta are already registered; and three provinces means a national title will be awarded, so get in on the action!
