BC Cyclist Hit by Truck

John Wakefield, long time member of the Canadian cycling community is recovering after being struck by a truck while waiting at an intersection in late November. The accident left John with a broken pelvis (6 pins were put in) and other major trauma.

The latest update is that he is no longer needing anymore surgery, but that a long rehab is in the future.

John is a commissaire and a past Executive Director of Cycling BC.

We would like to extend our best wishes to John for a strong recovery.
