Gord Ross reports that racing is a go tonight. Heavy winds have been causing power outs all over the BC coast for the last couple of days, but the power is on at the velodrome and the track is open.


Burnaby Velodrome Picks Roadie.ca As Official Race Results Partner

The Burnaby Velodrome is pleased to announce its partnership with Roadie.ca to track the league‚s official race results and omnium points for the 2007 season. Starting in January, 2007, 26 weekly races, two weekend Velodrome Challenges, and the Six Days of Burnaby will be tracked through Roadie, giving viewers of the site up-to-date statistics on their favourite cyclists.

Located in the Greater Vancouver area of British Columbia, the Burnaby Velodrome is a 200m wooden track and one of only three indoor tracks in North America. This track is covered by an air-supported roof, allowing for year-round racing.

Roadie.ca simply enters any league‚s point schema and the results from the league‚s races then the software tracks the running points for each rider‚s results across all race leagues and provinces in one convenient website.
