From Tuesday, January 2nd to Sunday, January 7th, the Harry Jerome Sports Centre in Burnaby will be the centre of attention for all track cycling enthusiasts. The second annual Giant Bicycles Six Days of Burnaby will feature not only some of North America's finest track cyclists, including five Langley, B.C.-based Symmetrics professionals, but also the traditional mix of sprint races, amateur races, courier challenges, music, food and refreshments.

Each night, the top riders in the Elite category will compete in three to five races totaling over 200 kilometers for the week while vying for $3000 in prize money. Including the local Symmetrics riders Svein Tuft, Cam Evans, Christian Meier, Zach Bell, and Marsh Cooper, this Elite Madison field will feature no less than 13 current or past National Champions from Canada, the US, and Hungary as well as a Masters World Champion.

Other standouts to watch for are young US road racing star Tyler Farrar of the Cofidis ProTour team, the Great Divide Brewing/Raleigh duo of Kevin Suhr and Ryan Luttrell from Colorado, the US and Canadian National Teams of Cody O'Reilly/Austin Carroll and Martin Gilbert/Ryan McKenzie respectively, and Eric Robertson and Adan Thuss - a top team from the Forest City Velodrome in London, Ontario. Daniel Harm and Adrian Hegyvary will pair and these National Champions from the US and Hungary will be formidable as will the oldest competitor in the field Kenny Williams, 37, from Redmond, WA and young junior phenom Cody Campbell, 16 from Surrey, BC riding in the dEVo colours.
