Cycling Winter Nationals - Day 1
Day one of the 3 day Winter Cycling Nationals at the Forest City Velodrome took place Friday. The first day consisted of time trials and heats for the mass start scratch races.
Point leaders in each category were:
Senior - Daniel DeFraneschi of Windsor
Masters - Rob Good of Waterloo
Juniors - Joe Veloce - Fonthill
Ladies - Joanna Wiersma - London
Cadets - Kyle Rupay - Peterborough
Velo-Kids - Amberley Berman - London
Racing continues tonight, Saturday, at 7pm with Sprint Tournaments, Mass start Scratch race finals and Points races.
