Founded in 1981, Rocky Mountain Bicycles is Canada's premier bicycle brand, offering a wide range of cross-country, free-ride, city, and road bikes. Aviawest-Rocky Mountain elite riders will be racing the new 2007 Solo CR 70 bike during this upcoming road season and the Solo CXR for cyclocross.

Lead by Team Captain Andrew Kyle, the 2007 team includes some of BC's top junior riders: Jeff Clarkson, Matt Savage, Craig Ritchey, and Robin White. This year's goal of excellence for the Aviawest-Rocky Mountain Cycling Team will be to podium at both Provincial and National Championship events and exceed the ten victories of 2006.

Based in Victoria, Team Aviawest- Rocky Mountain evolved from the Aviawest Cycling Club, the TeenSpeed Cycling Team and Team Kappa. Run under the guidance of team coach, Steve Lund, his extensive experience working with athletes such as Olympic Triathlon Gold Medalist, Simon Whitfield and 2004 US Pro Tour Cycling Champion, Gina Grain, should see Team Aviawest-Rocky Mountain out in front and excelling in all the upcoming races.
