Tour of Pakistan
Last week the Tour of Pakistan began, finishing this Friday after 1648 kilometres. Three Canadian riders are taking part - Larry Zimich, Matt Usborne and Scott Laliberte. There has not been much news available (there doesn't appear to be a website or organizer contact, and the race is not recognized by the UCI), however, Zimich and Usborne have both won stages: Stage 5 for Zimich and Stage 7 for Usborne. Both Zimich and Usborne are finishing consistently in the top five or six each stage and (we assume) are in the top five overall. Robin Read of New Zealand is leading overall (we think), although organizers have only announced the standings as of Saturday. Today (Tuesday) is a rest day. If anyone has more complete information, we would love to know!
