March 22/07 1:18 am - Canadian University Challenge & MS London 6 Day at Forest City Velodrome this weekend

Forest City Velodrome

Racing at the Forest City Velodrome will be hot and heavy at the FCV this weekend with 2 major events taking to the Velodrome.

Canadian University Challenge is the first event on Friday March 23rd from 1pm - 5pm, 3 levels of racers will participate in the racing action. From beginners to Elite racers, 6 Canadian Universities will participate in this event promoted by MacMaster's Cycling Club and the FCV.

Racers from UWO, Waterloo, MacMaster, Toronto, Ottawa, Queens are scheduled to be on hand.

Events include Flying Laps, 500m Time Trials, Kilo & Scratch races.

Later on Friday is the MS London 6 Day Bike race with 10 teams entered in 2 divisions..... The 6 Day will begin at 7pm. racing continues Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 1pm.

Donations to the MS society can be made at the Velodrome all weekend.
