New Mountain Bike World Cup in Quebec
After the cancellation of the World Cup triple in Angelfire scheduled for the July1st weekend, the UCI has been looking for a replacement event in North America. Park City, Utah and Lake Placid, New York were potential venues, both both eventually declined. St Felicien, Quebec has now stepped in to take on the cross-country event. The event will be scheduled for the same July 1st weekend. St Felicien - in the Lac St Jean region northeast of Quebec City - has held Quebec Cup events for the past 6 years.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that the Downhill and 4-Cross portions may be held in Whistler, BC in August (around the time of Crankworx).
