'A' Teams

Dave Byer was back for Team Delhi after last night's spill but unfortunately Brantford's Eric Robertson was unable to return. Lorne Falkenstein took over Robertson's place.

Team London took the lead in points with a win in the first event, the scratch race, and held the lead through the first madison, through the miss & out and into the early part of the final madison. Then Team Stratford came alive. They definitely took the prize for being most aggressive team and it paid off. After 5 attempts they gained a lap on the entire field. Nearing the end Team Windsor attacked but were brought back by the rest of the field. Then it was Stratford staying at the front and keeping the pace high to prevent anyone attacking and getting the lap back.

'B' Teams

Team Tri-City were the dominant team today. They managed to take a lap on the other teams in each madison and with the win moved back into the overall lead that they had held with Team USA. Keith Thorarinson, replacing Falkenstein who moved up to the 'A' group, added some sprinting points to the London Team and they ended up in second spot ahead of USA and Niagara.
