Canadian Espoirs are in France in preparaton for Wednesday's la Coupe des Nations. Today they raced in one of 2 preparatory events with good results.
Keven Lacombe, Jean-Sébastien Perron, David Veilleux, Marsh Cooper, Christian Meir
"It was a race of 120 kilometres", said Lacombe. It went well. We succeeded in placing one rider, Marsh Cooper, in third with Christian Meir, classified fifth and I finished in eighth. The majority of the larger teams participated. With these good results, we are motivated for tomorrow (Monday), although, I am not certain to exert myself, in order to preserve my energy for Wednesday ".. According to Lacombe, the la Coupe des nations is a circuit of the World cup "It is one of the important competitions which they will participate in the two next weeks. Next weekend, they will be in Belgium, for a race in Liege, and the following week, will be in Italy to take part in a 'Tour des régions italiennes.'
