Team Edilsavino Announces Website

Pisa, Italy. March 10, 1999. Italian-based women's pro cycling team, Team Edilsavino, has announced an english language website to keep non-Italian-speaking fans in the loop. The site is accessed at www.hometown.aol.com/edilsavino/Welcome.html and lists team members and staff, race program, results and team news (All press releases are also posted on the site.)

The site was launched following increased overseas interest in the team. This followed the announcement of the signing of American Karen Kurreck on March 3. All of Karen's entertaining race reports are posted on the site.

Future plans for the site include having it hosted by team sponsor, CLD, a Tuscan-based graphic design and internet service provider (which sure will simplify that URL!!). CLD currently hosts an Italian language site for the team at www.cld.it.


RST Recall

RST has announced a recall of the dual crown Hi-5 suspension fork due to problems with forks breaking (the stanchions, below the lower crown). Forks sold in Canada and the US since 1997 are affected, with the exception of the Hi-5 TL (through axle version). In Canada, retailers should contact Cycles Lambert (in the US, contact RST USA). Consumers should contact their retailer.
