Whistler Summer Gravity Camps & FOX Racing Shox Team up for 2007 Season
FOX Racing Shox is pleased to announce their sponsorship of the Summer Gravity Camps for 2007. "At FOX we constantly strive to advance our products to meet the demands of the progression of the sport of Mountain Biking, working with Andrew and the Summer Gravity Camps helps us support the progression of young riders who are the future of our sport," stated Elayna Caldwell, Marketing Manager at FOX.
Andrew Shandro, SGC camp director, " I'm stoked to be working with FOX Racing Shox in 07. FOX is a premier company in the mountain bike world, and it's great to have them on board as one of the camp sponsors. Our campers should be happy as well, FOX is providing several forks as prizes. All of our camp sponsors are very supportive of making Summer Gravity Camps the best freeride mountain bike camp in the world." Attendees of the camp will have a chance to win one of six 36 VAN RC2 suspension forks.
The Summer Gravity Camps were founded in 2002. Based out of Whistler, B.C., Canada. SGC was the first week long freeride mountain bike camp in the world. The goal is to offer the best week of riding possible while being coached by top athletes . Over the past five years SGC has coached 500 people from over 20 countries. Last summer's addition of the Air Dome (8000ft covered facility with a foam pit , ramps, etc) allowed SGC campers to progress in a safe and controlled environment. "Were stoked for another great month of camps this summer. It's amazing to see how people can improve over the course of a week with proper coaching and the Whistler Mountain Bike Park to ride in," said Shandro.
