Soccer Reports No Positives
FIFA (the international football federation) has reported that the Under-20 World Cup tournament held recently in Canada had no positive doping tests. The testing involved two players from each team in each game providing urine samples. Contrast this with the Tour de France, which tested every single rider prior to the start of the Tour, daily tests of leading riders and randoms, plus unannounced team tests at the team hotels through the race. Maybe cycling needs to go to the level of testing football does and then our sport will be clean too...
