Get ready for roaring carbon wheels and blazing speeds as the 2007 BC Track Provincial Championships are nearly upon us!
BC's best Junior, Senior and Masters track racers will be out to compete in the plethora of championship events that track racing has to offer.
Saturday, August 18th will bear witness to riders at the extreme levels of speed, with Pursuits and Sprints on the agenda to start things off. The day will continue with endurance riders heading out for Scratch Races, followed by Sprint Finals, and will close with Team Pursuits.
Sunday will highlight the sprinters, opening with the 500m ITT and dreaded Kilo. The explosive Points races will split the sprint action as speeds increase in the Keirins. An Open Madison will follow, challenging the provinces best track pairings, and closing the Provincials will be the Team Sprint for one final hurrah.
Below is the tentative schedule, subject to alterations.
