Ride for Karen - Ontario
On Sunday, September 9th, join hundreds of other cyclists from across Ontario at the annual Ride for Karen, sponsored by Scotiabank. This fully-supported, premiere cycling event features two distances - a 160km cycling challenge and a 25k family fun ride. Cyclists start in Maple, just north of Toronto, and ride through the beautiful countryside. Started in 2002 as a tribute to Karen Tobias who passed away from breast cancer, the Ride for Karen has raised close to $500,000. 100% of the proceeds from the event are used to send hundreds of children with cancer to summer camp.
