First half stage of the second stage. A 9.1 km TT. Basically, 4.5 km up hill on a narrow road and 4.5km down hill.
Alex Wrubleski took 5th, at 15 seconds. Behind Moreno Allue of Spain. Alex is now sitting in 3rd place at the GC, only 6 second behind the new leader, Priska Doppmann of Switzerland.
Others Canadians are Leigh Hobson (15th at 43 sec), Alison Testroete (28th at 1:04), Erinne Willock (29th at 1:06), Julie Beveridge (42th at 1:23) and finally Moriah Jo McGregor (94th at 2:51).
Also, Wrubleski is leading the young rider classification and Beveridge is 12th.
Team Canada is 5th in team GC (first nation).
This afternoon, second half stage. 93km long with 3 cols: 2 second category and 1 first category.
