Willow Beach Cross
Presented by Impala Bicycles
On Sunday the 30th of September the 2nd annual Willow Beach Cross Cyclocross Race presented by Impala Bicycles will take place. This is the third stop in the Southern Ontario Cyclocross Series. This relatively flat course is likely to be fast, given the weather that we've had, but will test racer's handling abilities. You can expect a variety of challenges including, but not limited to, tight turns, varied ground surfaces, off-cambers and the course's signature Lake Ontario beach run. By popular demand the organizers guarantee NO hay!
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top categories. All other categories will receive prizes and all registrants are eligible for draw prizes. Food and drink will be available on scene. This beautiful lakefront venue makes for a great day for the whole family.
From either Hwy 401 east or west, take the Wesleyville Rd. exit (Exit 456) which is about 30 minutes east of Oshawa or 10 minutes west of Port Hope. Take Wesleyville Rd. south to a set of flashing lights at Lakeshore Rd. Turn left (east) onto Lakeshore Rd and follow for another 1/2 km to Willow Beach Rd. Turn right (south) and follow to the end. It will be signed.
