Heras May Retire

Spanish star Roberto Heras, a three-time winner of the Vuelta, announced today to Spanish press that he may retire rather than returning to racing after having served a two year doping ban for EPO use.

The Catalan newspaper Mundohas Heras commenting: "It is true that I have had offers, five in total, but none met the conditions that I need to return to cycling. If by the end of the year things do not change, I will opt to retire."

Heras says that money is not the mitigating factor.
