Burnaby Six Day - Day 3 January 2nd, Burnaby BC
Courtesy Glenn Barr, BVC
The third night of racing saw Symmetrics hold onto their 2 lap lead over Slipstream Sports, maintain their 3 lap lead over Healthnet, and extend their lead to 5 laps over Successful Living.
There is also a fight for 5th and 6th position, with local Team Devo losing one lap of their two lap lead over US National.
Healthnet scored two wins, with a win in the first Madison and in the 1-rider Point-a-Lap race. Symmetrics won the 1-rider Points race, and Slipstream came out on top in the second madison of the night.
Thursday night will feature a 100 lap Madison and a 200 lap Madison, as well as two 1-rider races. The long 200 lap Madison should provide an opportunity for an extended attack on Symmetrics lead, going into the final nights of racing.
