Four Candidates Now for CAS Presidency
It is being reported by Associated Press that Canadian Dick Pound and Swiss lawyer Robert Briner have now been joined by two other candidates in the race to become president of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). Mino Auletta, an Italian lawyer and the interim CAS president, plus Gunnar Werner, a Swedish swimming official are said to be in the running. The CAS will appoint a new president at its next meeting on April 3rd in Monaco.
