Coaches Wanted for Victoria Elementary School Bike Club

Coaches are needed for an elementary school bike club in Victoria running Wednesdays beginning April 23. The job pays an honoraria of $37.50 for each 90 minute session. Sessions are Wednesdays either 2:15 to 3:45 at the school (younger groups), or 2:30 to 4:00 at Hartland or the BMX track.

There will be 11 sessions. Sir James Douglas elementary school nearby also wants to run a club on a different night of the week.

Groups are 8 children maximum. A mechanic is present to deal with mechanical issues.

The overall objective of the club is fun and skills. The main skills are getting kids to brake, change gear, ride off the seat, and over small obstacles and varied terrain. Certification preferred, but enthusiasm a must.
