BC's Cody Campbell Finishes 6th in Normandy
Cody Campbell, riding for the Canadian National Team, had a great debut in Europe finishing 6th. He was in the front group of riders all day, on a windy 12km course with a 1.5km climb to the finish. It was a fast, active race, with lots of attacking from the gun. Cody reported that he was happy with his result, after being in the majority of the breaks for 80km.
The team is doing a stage race next weekend, the Tour de Bessin.
