Bike Parks BC’s Ultimate Road Trip Contest

You can still enter after the grand prize deadline of June 15th to win more prizes including a new Marin Quake 7.2 full-suspension mountain bike frame. Great prizes from Kenda, Hayes, Clif , Ryders Eyewear, ODI and WTB will be given away every two weeks.

Two spot prizewinners have been drawn so far with Chris Wilkins of Lew Beach, New York winning a set of Kenda tires and jersey plus some stylish Ryders eyewear along with two lift passes for Sun Peaks. Chris an avid East Coast rider dreams of coming out West, “We love to ride our bikes and would love to visit the heartland of free riding, in BC”.

The second prizewinner, Jeff Austin of Victoria, British Columbia, wins a full set of Hayes Stroker brakes plus Ryders Eyewear and two Whistler Bike Park lift passes. When asked why he would like to win the Ultimate Road Trip Jeff had this to say, “Mountain biking was my first real taste of freedom ... it's still about the freedom, pure and simple. I would be stoked to have the chance to ride and learn from an amazing rider like Shaums March.

Two “Ultimate Road Trip” winners for each tour will win a weeklong trip with their guest on either an eastern or western mountain biking tour, starting July 26th. Tours feature Panorama Mountain Resort, Kicking Horse Mountain, and Silver Star Resort or Mount Washington, Sun Peaks Resort concluding at Whistler during Kokanee Crankworx.

The 2008 “Ultimate Road Trip” grand prize provides winners and their guest the use of 2008 XLT Series Freeride bikes from Marin, complete with full riding gear, team jerseys, plus professional guiding and coaching from the reigning World Masters Downhill Champ, Shaums March, of MMR Bike Camps.
