2008 Bike Train Celebrates First Departure with Launch Event Toronto
The award-winning Bike Train Initiative will celebrate the start of its 2008 summer season on Friday, June 27 with a media event at Union Station in Toronto. The Bike Train launched in summer 2007 and introduced bike racks onboard select VIA Rail departures between Toronto and Niagara Falls. It is anticipated that over 500 cyclists will travel on the Bike Train in 2008.
