Midweek Cycling Club would like to thank all those people who gave some of their time to help make last weekend's CHIN Picnic Bicycle Race so successful. If it wasn't for you and your efforts then the event couldn't occur. Thank you.

We'd like to thank all the competitors for making our efforts worthwhile. We hope you had a great day racing.

And we'd like to thank CHIN International for enabling the race. SIDI, Amino Vital, GNC and La Bicicletta for their prize contributions and the Toronto Football Club for all the game tickets which helped make the day perfect.

T-shirts: Every volunteer and competitor was to receive a t-shirt memento of the race. The shirts arrived late so many of you didn't get yours. They will be available for pick-up (while quantities last) at Monday and Tuesday night Midweek events and at the next race Midweek hosts... Halton on July 20th (subject to community meeting on July 9th) or August 9th Wasaga Beach twilight crit.

Re: Halton on July 20th. As some of you may have read on the course summary sheet there is a very important community and municipal approval meeting at 6:30 pm, July 9, 2008 at Community & Corporate Services Committee meeting in the Council Chambers on the 2nd floor of Burlington City Hall, 426 Brant Street, Burlington, L7R 3Z6. We encourage you to attend and show your support for the event.
