Canada Cup Standings

We have had a couple of people point out that there were some people listed twice in the Canada Cup standings (after event #2). These mistakes have been fixed. HOWEVER, please be aware that the official standings are maintained by the CCA, and that those results are flawed also. We have passed a message onto the CCA, but affected individuals should contact the CCA as well. From this point on, we will be calculating our own Canada Cup standings after each event, so that we can get them up as quickly as possible.


Whoops...

In our listing of Canadians at the HP International Women's Classic (starting tomorrow), we inadvertently missed Leigh Hobson, who will be riding for Schwab/Flexiblock. Thanks for David Hobson for pointing it out.

The Caruso Italian Festival on July 4th, 1999 along with the Sudbury Cycling Club are your race hosts for the 1999 Provincial Criterium Championships....

We invite you to test your legs on one of the most traditional race courses in front of the most appreciative of Italian audiences.

You are also invited to attend the Delki Dozzi Criterium on July 3rd at the Delki Dozzi Memorial Park at the 1km self-contained cycling loop of the Sudbury Cycling Club.

The Brakes-Field Limits (Minimums and Maximums):

Delki Dozzi event has a field limit o f 60 per Category
Race Officials govern all situations according to the rules of racing
Video Finish for Each day of Racing

Saturday - Senior (M&W)&Master $15.00 -Junior (M&W) $10.00
Sunday - Senior (M&W)&Master $20.00 -Junior (M&W) $15.00

Race Frame (The Course):
The traditional Caruso Crit. begins on Whittaker Street,. Albinson descends and climbs before you corner onto Victoria Street. Not too soon you will corner onto Whittaker descending back to the start line. This last corner provides a beautiful site from the Caruso Club where cheers and fans await their Champion!!

The Lap Distance: 1.75km (approx.)
