I'm excited to present a new format for our 5th annual Cyclocross Camp, This year we have teamed up with the Midweek Cycling Club and the Ontario Cycling Association's MTB provincial coach Kevin Simms, to provide a full day of cyclocross training at one of the best cross venues in Canada. Centennial Park, host site of North Americas only UCI C1 cross weekend, November 8th & 9th. Riders will get a chance to learn and practice their skills on portions of both race courses.
The Camp will run from 9am to 4pm on Saturday, September 20th. Cost is $50 Cdn (includes lunch) plus any applicable one-day permit fees. Pre- registration is available at www.ontariocycling.org.
Riders will be able to choose from a variety of topics and skills taught by some of Ontario's top pro riders. This camp is open to all ability levels, with instruction geared towards each rider's needs in a challenging and positive environment.
Centennial Park is located in Toronto, Ontario, within minutes of Lester B Pearson (Toronto) International Airport, and easily accessible from Hwy's 401 & 427. or a short bike ride from the Kipling subway station.
Equipment needs: helmet, weather appropriate clothing and a functioning cyclocross / mountain or road bike.
This camp will serve as an ideal prep for the following day's Southern Ontario Cross Series race #2: "Valley Park Cyclocross" in nearby Hamilton, Ontario. Presented by HCC.
