BC Cyclocross Cup #7: Cross(Port)Coquitlam!

New Venue, Same Great Racing

November 10th, 2008

On Saturday, November 15th, Team Escape Velocity is pleased to present Cross(Port)Coquitlam!, the seventh race in the BC Cyclocross Cup. The race will be held at a new venue at Port Coquitlam’s Lions Way Park. This will be a great new course and will complement this year’s very active Vancouver cyclocross calendar.

Although our expert course designers are still haggling over the final course details, expect a mainly flat, grassy course complete with an off camber berm section and a UCI regulation jump thrown in for good measures.

Date: SATURDAY, November 15, 2008

Location: Lions Way Park, Port Coquitlam

Time: Sign on opens at 9 am and closes 10 minutes before your start time

10:00 Open Beginner Men (30 minute race); B and Master Women (30 minute race)
10:40 Kids Cross (10 minute race)
11:00 B Men (40 minute race); Master Men (40 minute race)
12:00 A Men (60 minute race); A Women (40 minute race)

Entry fee: $25. Day of registration only.

You must present your racing license and a signed waiver at registration to get your number

UNLICENSED RIDERS: Canadian residents may purchase a one-day Cycling BC license for $30 at sign-up. US riders with a UCI license welcome. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate US riders who do not have a UCI license.
