Bicycle Transportation Plan Goes to Edmonton Council
Cycle Edmonton: The Bicycle Transportation Plan, will be presented to the city council's transportation and public works committee on March 3rd. It is the first major update addressing cycling in the city since 1992. The plan proposes the spending of $100 million over the next ten years to build a city-wide network of bike lanes and multi-use trails adding nearly 500 kilometres to existing bike lanes and trails.
