Things are heating up with Local Ride's, Race The Ridge Stage Race 5 day's away. The weather forcast is for hot, sunny skies, which is a welcome sign for BC racers. The 3 new courses are going to be challenging, with the hilly Thornhill Road Race, a flat 16 km Time Trial and a "Roubaix" style dirt criterium capping off the weekend of events. "This year we made alot of changes, adding the new courses and making it a time based stage race. Registration is going well, which means we will be offering $4500 in cash and prizes."
Registration closes Thursday, April 23 at 6 pm. There is no race day registration. For information go to www.localride.ca.
