Peter McCaffery, who was involved in a near-fatal accident in early March, when he was hit by a BC Hydro truck while out on a ride, has just been discharged from Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. Although he is going to be doing long-term therapy, he should eventually make a full recovery and will be out on the bike in the not-too-distant future
He wishes to thank all those who sent him emails and cards as well as those who visited him in Victoria and Nanaimo; those kind notes and visits certainly help in the recovery process!
