On Sunday, September 13th, join cyclists from across Ontario at the annual Ride for Karen and help raise money to send children with cancer to camp.
This fully-supported, premiere cycling event features a century ride (160km) that starts in Vaughan and rolls through the countryside north of Toronto. There are also 100km and 25km distances. The annual event began in 2002 as a tribute to Karen Tobias who passed away from breast cancer. To date, Ride for Karen has raised nearly 1 million dollars. Sponsored by Scotiabank, all proceeds from this year’s event go to Camp Trillium, Camp Oochigeas and Camp Quality.
