Nine artists have donated their talent and time to paint 10, one of a kind rideable track bike frames, which will be, auctioned off on May 14, 2009 at Bamboo Lounge (Drum and Monkey) 1201-1 St. SW, Calgary
The frames will be on display at various shops around Calgary starting the first week of May. To find out where you can see these up close check out the artist section for the location.
All frames will start at $450. Profit from the auction will go to Right to Play, an international humanitarian organization that uses sport and play programs to improve health, develop life skills, and foster peace for children and communities in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the world. Working in both the humanitarian and development context, Right To Play trains local community leaders as Coaches to deliver its programs in countries affected by war, poverty, and disease in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and South America.
