K-Town Classic presented by Kelowna Cycle - June 13 & 14, 2009
We've moved!
The race has been normally held during the August long weekend but has been moved to June 13th & 14th and includes several exciting course changes designed to increase the caliber and exposure of the event.
In the past, the K-Town Classic has been comprised of a short hill climb on Knox Mountain and Winfield criterium on Saturday and a road race in Southeast Kelowna on Sunday. There are a few changes planned for this year. We will have a short time trial with an uphill finish instead of the hill climb and a downtown twilight criterium instead of the industrial park criterium of last year. The twisting and undulating road race course will remain unchanged. The road race portion of the event has been included in Cycling British Columbia's prestigious BC Cup series.
