On June 14, 2009, substance projects' second race will fly through Mansfield and Dufferin County Forest with the Ontario Marathon Challenge 2: Marathon and Half-Marathon.
The course is fast, flowing and filled with single track and tough climbs. It's fun to ride for everyone, but only the strongest riders will be able to ride fast. Come test yourself on June 14th at Mansfield for the second race in the Ontario Marathon Challenge.
There is still time to pre-register online with the OCA or mail in your registration to substance projects (details at substanceprojects.com) and save. You can also register for the remaining races in the series and save even more. Save $10 per race by pre-registering for all 4 remaining races.
Participants will have the opportunity to donate non-perishable food items to a local community's food bank. At the Ontario Marathon Challenge 1, participants gave more than 50 pounds of food to the Barrie Food Bank.
Fruit, water and energy drinks will be supplied at neutral feed-zones along each course.
substance projects fuses founder Dan Marshall's passions for mountain bike racing, well-organized biking events and charitable work. He created substance projects to provide mountain bike racers with the opportunity to experience a new kind of racing event while making a difference in the community.
