Mondial du Vélo, in collaboration with the Sherbrooke Cycling Club, are proud to announce the only event of its kind in Québec, the 24h CAT EYE, that will take place for the first time at Sherbrooke University on the 20th and 21st of June.
The 24h CAT EYE is a mountain biking endurance race, which involves more than 200 cyclists riding around a 8.5km circuit as many times as possible in 24 hours, using skill and speed.
Several teams have already registered for this festive and family-orientated outdoor event. Four teams from Sherbrooke have registered for the race, 2 of which are from the Sherbrooke Cycling Club (Team Camoplast and Team CCS Dalbix).
The main criterion for participation in this event is the desire to have fun! No need to be a pro! However, cyclists must register in one of the following categories:
Solo
4 professionals (expert category)
5 people (total age, less than 175 years old and more than 176 years old)
Corporate: between 6 and 10 people
The race starts at midday on the 20th of June between the Sherbrooke University stadium and the sports pavilion. Come and watch this huge outdoor event throughout the day and night!
