Schwalbe's Don Gillmore broke his own course record tonight to win the men's event and the majority of riders posted personal bests for the distance. Debbie Epps, Tri BC, won the women's race, also doing her best time for 40km.
Weather was cooler than the last couple of weeks, with a rising westerly breeze.
Next Thursday's event will be a choice of 20 or 40km. The next team time trial will be a 33km event on July 2nd.
