Plastiglas Ontario Cup # 5 will begin this Sunday, July 19th at Buckwallow Cycling Centre near Gravenhurst, Ontario.
Ontario Cup # 5 showcases some of Ontario’s most exciting riding with a great mix of speed and technical challenges. Riders can expect a mix of Buckwallow’s extremely fast doubletrack, and twisty, rocky singletrack - which is easily accessible for all spectators. The course distance is 9 km and promises to once again be many riders’ favorite course and venue of the Ontario Cup Series. The 8:30 am categories can expect a flowing, fast, 7 km course with less technical sections than the other starts. The cross-country events will test racers over distances ranging from 7– 42 km with the Expert’s and Elite’s race action beginning at 1:30 pm.
The Plastiglas Ontario Cup Series consists of 7 events taking place at premier mountain bike venues all across Ontario. These events have categories for all mountain bike ability levels, and offer a fun and exciting weekend for all.
