Yesterday, Lance Armstrong sent out a message to the 1.75 million people who follow him on Twitter, saying that he was going to be in Glasgow, Scotland for a U2 concert today, and inviting locals to show up for a ride and show him the sights. Hundreds showed up, including former Hour Record holder Graeme Obree, to ride in the rain with the seven-time Tour winner. According to a local fan, Armstrong was 'gobsmacked' by the number of people who showed up. Unlike Elvis sightings, this one is verifiable.
