August 21/09 20:34 pm - Track Nationals Entry Deadline Reminder and Update

The 2009 Track Nationals on-line registration deadline for ALL categories ENDS Saturday night (August 22nd) at  midnight and then there is only on-site registration available but please do not leave it to that as there will only be a short window to do this at the track. On-site registration will close 1 hr sharp before competition starts. We will only be doing Masters and U-17 on-site registration on Sunday evening and Monday morning ( 1 hr ) and Tuesday morning ( 1hr ). No Elite or Jr at this time.
 
Other schedule changes and notes:
 
To confirm there are two Masters omniums to comprise two Masters Championships. The three event Sprint omnium on Monday Aug 24 and the three event  Endurance omnium on Tuesday Aug. 25. The U-17 Championship omnium is five events held over two days as well as some non-championship challenge events. Distances in Masters events are changed slightly for the 750m is now 700 due to length of track. U-17 men will contest 2 km pursuit and 700m time trial and U-17 women will contest 1.5 km pursuit and 500m time trial.
 
National Team camp for invited/selected Elite/Jr riders only to meet at 2pm on Sunday at velodrome. Clinic for U-17 and Jr riders is open to any rider in these age brackets on Wednesday Aug 26 at 9 am until 11 am. Cost is included with your entry.
