The Canadian Cycling Association Nominates an Assistant Development Para-cycling coach

The Canadian Cycling Association is proud to announce the appointment of Sebastien Travers as assistant development para-cycling Coach.

Sebastien comes to us with great coaching and teaching skills from working in the school sport programs in Cowansville, Quebec, from acquiring a degree in kinesiology, from being a level 4 certified coach and from working as a provincial cycling coach in Quebec.

Travers will be working closely with the Head para-cycling coach to ensure seamless progression from the time athletes are identified to the time they graduate to the High performance level. The assistant development para-cycling coach will also ensure that talent ID initiatives are developed and maintained at the provincial level to ensure an increased para-cycling athlete talent pool.

We are confident that the nomination of Sebastien Travers into this position will contribute greatly in our goal of hoisting and maintaining Canada as a leader in the para-cycling world.

The Canadian Cycling Association is proud to announce the appointment of Adam Muys as National BMX Coach.

Through collaboration between Cycling BC and the Canadian Cycling Association Adam brings to our BMX national program a great deal of experience and expertise.

Muys will be in charge of planning and implementing our National BMX program and ensuring that our up and coming and top athletes have as many training camp and competition opportunities to contribute to our athletes becoming some of the best BMX athletes in the world.

L`Association Cycliste Canadienne est fier d`annoncer la nomination de Adam Muys en tant qu’entraineur national de BMX.

Grace à une collaboration entre Cycling BC et l’Association cycliste canadienne, Adam nous arrive au sein du programme de BMX avec un haut niveau d’expertise et d’expérience.

Muys sera en charge de la planification et de la mise en œuvre de notre programme de BMX. Ce programme s’assurera que nos athlètes de développement ainsi que nos athlètes identifiés de Haute Performance auront un maximum d’opportunités de camp et de compétition qui leur permettront de poursuivre leur progression en vue de devenir les meilleurs athlètes BMX au monde.

L’Association cycliste canadienne est fière d’annoncer la nomination de Sebastien Travers au rang d’entraîneur assistant de développement pour le programme de paracyclisme.

Ayant œuvré dans le domaine en tant qu’entraineur au Sport-Étude de Cowansville, à la FQSC, certifié niveau 4 au PNCE ainsi qu’ayant un baccalauréat en kinésiologie, Sebastien compte beaucoup de corde à son arc qui lui permettrons de bien remplir ses nouvelles fonctions.

Travers travaillera de concert avec l’entraîneur national de paracyclisme afin d’assurer la progression des athlètes identifiés du rang développement jusqu’au rang d’élite Haute Performance. L’entraîneur assistant de développement pour le programme de paracyclisme aura aussi comme responsabilité d’assurer qu’il y ait des innitiatives de détection et de développement du talent au sein des provinces afin d’augmenter le nombre d’athlètes en paracyclisme à la base.
