Race Across America Results
Two readers have pointed out that the RAAM (Race Across America) has just finished, with Canadian Paulo Saldanha (from Montreal, Quebec) taking Rookie of the Year honours. This gruelling event covered 2938.09 miles (4715.6 km). Riders have support crews, but set their own schedules for breaks, feeding, etc. This year, the riders faced extreme heat through the entire race.
