The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) has announced the release of its Annual Report 2008-09. The report is available in an online magazine format and can be accessed at www.cces.ca.
Included in the report are Domestic Doping Control statistics for the 2008-2009 period, broken down by sport. Cycling was ranked as the fourth most tested sport for the period with 152 tests (59 In Competition / 93 Out of Competition). It was behind Athletics (300 - 135/168), Swimming (209 - 85/124) and Canoe/Kayak (196 - 82/114). Cycling also had one (unnamed) athlete receive a warning/reprimand during the period for Cannabis.
