In January 2010 the Pacific Cycling Centre in Victoria, BC will be offering indoor training sessions for cyclists of all abilities. The twice-weekly sessions will start on January 6th running through to February 27th. The sessions will be held at the Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence.
The 75-minute training sessions are open to cyclists, runners, and triathletes who want to get some base training in over the winter. PCC Head Coach Houshang Amiri will be leading the sessions, which will also cover bike handling, positioning and knowing how to shift effectively. Participants can sign up for all the sessions or pay a drop-in fee.
Session Details:
January 6 - February 27, 2010
- Wednesday: 7 am - 8.15 am
- Saturday: 8 am - 9.15 am
Cost: $18 drop-in; $136 for 8 sessions; $165 for 10 sessions; $270 for all 18 sessions.
Location: Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence, Movement Room, 4371 Interurban Road, Victoria, BC
Participants are asked to bring their bike and riding gear (cycling shoes and shorts not necessary) and arrive 15 minutes prior to the session.
