Tim Sherstobitoff got out of the starting gate with gusto, taking three firsts in the A group. Mike Sidic also had a strong showing with two seconds and a third place.
Kelly Braden and Lido Crema look to be the early leaders in the huge (twenty riders...) B field, Kelly taking a first and two seconds, followed by Lido with two firsts and a fourth. Leaving the rest of us B's well behind in the points tally.
Young up and comers Trevor Pearson and Jenny Lehman are taking the lead in the C group.
This is looking like it will be a fast and exciting series.
We're looking for a few extra volunteers for the next two weeks. Jeremy [Storie] will be in Beijing so we will need a couple of extra people to help run the race and help get the finishers properly recorded.
