Intermediate / Senior Road bike mechanic position available at La Bicicletta Pro Shop, 233 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC

The duties:

• The primary duty is to service, maintain and upgrade performance road bikes.
• Maintain the customer booking schedule to ensure that all mechanics times are filled.
• Advise customers on the best course of action in terms of part upgrades.

The requirements:

• The right candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining $5000 road and TT bikes.
• As a Worldwide Campagnolo Pro Shop, some Campy experience is mandatory. We will provide additional training as necessary
• This individual is self-managed and conscious of the time management requirements that come with multiple service appointments every day.
• Exceptional customer service skills are mandatory.

The Shop:

• A high volume road bike store located in Vancouver, BC
• 24 years of history being Road, Triathlon, Track and Cross
• Great reputation and still growing

The Pay:

• $13+ an hour depending on experience.
• 37.5 hours per week
• Health and Dental Plan (co-share)
• 4% vacation pay
• The store is closed Stat Holidays
• Typical work shift is 10-6 with one weekend day.
