The Canadian Cycling Association would like to congratulate Marie-Claude Molnar for receiving one of only 200 grants made available from the Hudson Bay Athletes Support Program 2010, in collaboration with Sport Canada.
In her first international racing season, Molnar won a total of 4 medals (1 silver and 3 bronze) at the 2009 Road and Track Para-cycling World Championships. This grant represents a great source of motivation for Molnar who plans to invest the money on high performance racing equipment. “What is good for me, will also be good for Canada. This is the first of 2012 Paralympics qualification process,” says Molnar.
Molnar will soon join the Para-cycling National Team at the March training camp, in Cuba.
