In 2009, the Canadian Cycling Association sent a team of 14 riders to participate in the Pan American Track Cycling Championships in Mexico City. It proved to be the beginning of a successful season, with riders coming home with a Continental Championship Record, five new Canadian Records, and 8 medals.
The 2010 Pan American Championships are scheduled to take place in Aguacalientes, Mexico May 10-18, and the CCA is looking to build on last year’s success. The Pan American Track Team will be chosen from riders participating in a selection camp in LA April 10-12 and having met set Selection Criteria. Full details regarding the team selection and national team policies may be found on the CCA website:

Athletes interested in attending the National Track Team Trials in LA, are asked to e-mail Petrina Tulissi at track@canadian-cycling.com by March 19th.
