There was a nice article in the Greenville News (Greenville, SC.) this week about the women’s cycling group from Quebec that has been staying at nearby Table Rock State Park for the past two weeks. We would like to introduce all the Canadian cycling groups to Clemson University’s Outdoor Lab as a base location for their fall or spring tours. The Outdoor Lab is part of the university’s Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Department and is located on beautiful Lake Hartwell near Clemson, SC.
We are the perfect place for cycling groups to make their home camp while touring the scenic roads of upstate South Carolina. We have group cabins or suites, food service and small/large meeting facilities available for rental from mid-August through May. The New Market Eagles cycling club has been coming here in the spring for years to do their training.
If you would like more information about the Lab, or see pictures of our facilities, visit our website (www.clemson.edu/outdoorlab). We would love to have your cycling groups here in the fall or spring so spread the word about this wonderful opportunity!
Regards, Nancy Warmath
